Zumba Gold is specifically designed for those who are looking for a lower impact, low intensity Zumba workout. It consists of a series of easy-to-follow Latin-inspired dance moves which are delivered at a slower and more controlled pace. It is less intense, with specifically designed dance routines. It is based on the same dance moves used in the original Zumba class, including the same stimulating Latin-based moves from belly dance to tango.

The Gold class is suitable for the active older adult, true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising, or people who may have physical limitations (e.g. joint problems).

The class is 45 minutes long and includes a longer warm up and cool down than the regular Zumba class. The moves focus on improving balance, strength and flexibility, while raising your heart beat and improving cardiovascular ability.
